1. Overview
Imbilla Digital Agency mainly supplies digital services and software access rather than physical goods. This policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund, in line with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002.
2. Goods or services that are unavailable
If we are unable to provide a service or product you have paid for, you will be refunded in full within 30 (thirty) days of the transaction date.
3. Cooling off period for online purchases
Where the law provides a cooling off right, you may cancel certain online purchases within 7 (seven) days of the transaction and receive a refund, subject to the exceptions in the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. This cooling off right does not apply to services that have already begun or been performed with your consent, or to work made or customised to your specifications.
4. Project and bespoke work
- Because design and development work is bespoke and resources are committed once a project starts, deposits and fees for work already performed are non refundable.
- If you cancel a project before work has started, any amount paid, less any administrative or onboarding costs already incurred, will be refunded.
- Where work is partly complete, refunds are assessed pro rata for the portion not yet delivered.
5. Subscriptions (Launchpad and similar)
Subscription fees are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time to stop future billing (see our Cancellation Policy). Fees already paid for the current billing period are generally non refundable, except where required by law or where a service was not delivered.
6. Faulty or not as described
If a deliverable is materially faulty or not as described, tell us within 7 (seven) days and we will repair, redo or refund the affected portion, as appropriate.
7. How to request a refund
Email terrence@imbilladigitalagency.com with your name, the transaction or invoice number, and the reason for the refund. Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method through Payfast within 7 to 10 business days of approval.
