Imbilla Digital Agency respects your privacy and protects your personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Information we collect

When you sign up for Sentinel or contact us we may collect your name, email address, WhatsApp/mobile number, and the website address you ask us to monitor. Sentinel also receives technical error signals from your site (for example a 500 error or downtime event) so we can alert and help you. Sentinel never collects the content of your website or your visitors data.

Why we collect it

To deliver the Sentinel service (monitoring, alerts and AI diagnosis), to send your download link, setup help and product updates, to provide support, and to process payments for paid plans.

WhatsApp and email

We use your email and WhatsApp/mobile number to send incident alerts, resolved notices, and a short series of setup and product emails. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time; we will still send essential service and security alerts while your account is active.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run Sentinel (such as Brevo for messaging and PayFast for payments) and where required by law.

Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

Your rights
